Band saw is used on band saw machine, it performs separation of any metal product and alloys (pipes, steel profiles, rebar, bars). The advantage of such processing is cutting at angle.

Metal cutting

Metal cutting is made to the dimensions in order to separate metal products into separate semi-finished metal parts or details under specified parameters according to drawings. We use turning, milling, band saw machines, as well as guillotine and other metal-cutting equipment, cutting tools to cut metal.

 

Types of metal cutting

The company provides services for metal products cutting by cold shear as well as CNC plasma and gas-oxygen cutting of flat steel.

 

Mechanical metal cutting is made with the help of grinder, guillotine, band-saw machine and stationary rotary saw:

  • Cutting on the guillotine is performed by special scissors or knives after preliminary marking. The advantages of this method are precision and low cost of processing.
  • Cutting by grinder is made on straight lines with separation of steel profiles of small and medium diameter. It is used in manufacture of angles, round bars, rebar and other products. The advantage is absence of scale and oxides along the cut.
  • Cutting by rotary saw provides separation of metal products at angle and high cutting precision. Due to use of discs with hard-alloy soldering the cutting of aluminum is possible.
  • Band saw is used on band saw machine, which performs separation of any metal product and alloys (pipes, steel profiles, rebar, bars). The advantage of such processing is cutting at angle, high quality of the cut, low material loss.

 

High-temperature cutting, performed by us, includes:

  • CNC Plasma cutting of flat steel. CNC plasma cutting of flat steel is made by plasmotron, generating cutting arc. By this method of processing the metal melts and burns along the cut line. It is the most cost-effective and productive method.
  • Gas-oxygen cutting is made when the metal is heated up to 1000°C and burned in pure oxygen. The method is used for separation of thick metal products, having low thermal conductivity.

 

CNC PLASMA AND GAS-OXYGEN METAL CUTTING

If you need to cut flat steel, gas-oxygen or CNC plasma cutting of metal allows you to do it in the most cost-effective and accurate way.

 

Shaped processing of any metal, including high-carbon and high-alloy steels, is performed with minimum deformation of material by CNC plasma cutting; thickness of the metal being cut can reach 300 mm. You can perform work on products with complex geometric shape for different manufacturing areas with the help of CNC plasma cutting.

 

Gas-oxygen cutting is used for cutting of low alloy steels and medium alloy steels; it is characterized by smooth vertical surface of cut and possibility of cutting to final size without further processing.

Peculiarities of gas and CNC plasma metal cutting

CNC plasma cutting is metal treatment method, in which the cutter is plasma jet of temperature 5000–30000°C. In the place of cut local melting of metal occurs, thereby possibility of its temperature deformations has been reducing. Plasma cutting is used for processing of sheets and plates of small and medium thickness and provides good precision and high speed of metal processing.

 

Gas-oxygen cutting of flat steel is made by combustion of material in gas jet. Metal is heated by mixture of combustible gas and oxygen up to 1100 °C, after that jet of oxygen is sent to the cutting area. In contact with the heated metal oxygen is ignited and cuts the metal. This is the most popular industrial cutting method, because it allows us to cut metals of any thickness.

 

We make:

  • gas-oxygen cutting of metal of thickness from 5 mm to 300 mm;
  • CNC plasma cutting from 1 to 50 mm from plate edge 1 to 80 mm;
  • shaped cutting of parts of any complexity by modern machines.

Maximum area of ​​processed working area can be 2500×6000 mm.
